Many of our regular shipping customers don’t really know what we’re able to do as a printer-- making copies is one thing, printing is another.  Kay Wagner, Executive Director of SECO [the Science and Education Council of Ohio] was one such customer.  On a recent visit to the shop, Kay inquired about our ability to print the upcoming SECO conference program for SECO’s 33^rd annual meeting.  She was eager to provide this year’s attendees with a program that looked every bit as professional as the SECO organization— SECO is a state wide organization of educators who are dedicated to fostering excellence in science education throughout Ohio.

When Kay gave us her requirements for this project, it was clear she was really describing one of our printing “sweet spots”.  Here are the project basics:

After a little convincing and, since we had already earned Kay’s trust and confidence in our ability to perform, Kay awarded this project to us.  Once we converted her graphics files into “press ready files”, we produced and delivered a hardcopy proof for Kay to review and approve.  Some minor tweaks were made and then we were ready to roll.  We printed and finished 550 conference programs for Ms. Wagner; she commented afterwards that “any professional gathering would be delighted to have a conference program that looks this good”.

Maybe we’re a little biased, but we wholeheartedly agree !
