Where is PostNet In Mountain Home?

Technology is great when it works but it doesn't seem to help at all when trying to find us here at PostNet in Mountain Home.

According to the results customers have recently gotten from varying sources, including Garmin and Google, we can be found:

*  in Norfork, AR.
*  out past Baxter Lab on 201 N. in Mountain Home
*  behind the Golf course and just down from First Baptist Church in Mountain Home,
*  Behind a nursing home in Gassville, AR
*  Just inside the city limits of Cotter, AR

So where can we actually be found?

We are located in the shopping strip beside Wal-mart. We're the store right at the end where the shopping strip ends behind Verizon and GameStop.

We're just off the bypass and easy to find once you know where we really are.

If you need directions, just give us a call at (870) 492-7876.  We'll be glad to help you. : )

What Will It Cost To Send My Package?

There are several factors that affect shipping cost. In order to determine the actual cost for sending an item, these factors must be taken into consideration.

1. Package Size - the Height, Length and Width of the package, rounded to the nearest inch.

2. Package Weight - in pounds and ounces.

3. Destination Zip Code if Domestic (inside USA) and Postal Code if International (outside USA).

4. Value of Item - for insurance and/or customs.

5. Delivery Speed - how soon the item must reach its destination.

Package Size: Carriers  (DHL, Fedex, Postal Service & UPS) often assign what is called a dimensional weight (DM) value to packages. The larger the size of the package, the higher the dimensional weight. For instance, a box that is large enough to contain 50 pounds of content may be charged at a weight rate of 50 pounds even if the box weighs as little as 5 pounds.

Keeping package size as small as possible without risking damage to the contents will help you control shipping costs.

Package Weight: There are limits to what can be shipped via the normal shipping methods. As noted earlier, some box/package sizes are rated for several pounds and can cost you more even though the item itself isn't that heavy.

Destination Zip Code/Postal Code: Generally speaking, sending a package to a distant location (Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, International addresses, etc.) costs more than sending a package across the state or within the same region of the United States. Delivery to some zip codes may be limited or restricted.

Package Value: If you need more than the standard replacement insurance provided by Fedex or UPS, there will be an additional charge. In most instances, the U.S. Postal Service does not provide any insurance and you are required to pay an additional charge if insurance is required.

Package value is required on customs forms for International and APO/AE addresses but this value is for customs use only.

Package Delivery Time: Faster delivery options cost more than standard delivery. Faster delivery options with Fedex or UPS are guaranteed delivery dates. (This includes options like overnight, next day, two-day and three-day.)  Priority Mail through the U.S. Post Office is not guaranteed to arrive within a specific time frame.

Delivery Options with DHL, Fedex and UPS include:

Overnight/Next Day:  Guaranteed Delivery the Day after Shipping. More Expensive.

Two-Day: Guaranteed Delivery Two Days after Shipping.

Three-Day: Guaranteed Delivery Three Days after Shipping.

Ground: Delivery within a general time frame, often two to four days depending upon destination. Least Expensive.

Not all options are available for all zip codes.

The U.S. Postal Service offers express mail, priority mail and first class. Express is the fastest and also the only option featuring a guaranteed delivery time frame.

Our software allows us to easily view all of your options in one place so that you can make the best decision on how to get your package where it needs to be.

We offer DHL, Fedex, and UPS in addition to U.S.P. S. options.

Give Us a Call or Come In and See Us. We'll Be Glad to Help You!
