In general, shipping food products internationally is a bit tricky.  Every country has specific customs regulations regarding what types of food products can or cannot be shipped into the country.  There are many websites where you can learn the specifics of customs regulations for a given country.  Your best bet is to consult the website for a specific carrier (i.e. usps.com, fedex.com, etc), go to the section on international shipping, and look at the section regarding custom regulations for your destination country.

There are some rules-of-thumb that we would suggest before agreeing to ship food products internationally:

1.  Avoid shipping products that will spoil.

2.  Expect a customs inspection delay with your shipment ... destination countries tend to inspect food shipments with great care.

3.  Alert the recipient that there will most probably be a payment of duties, taxes, or fees involved with the delivery.

4.  DO NOT FALSIFY the customs forms required for the shipment ... this will all but insure the confiscation of your shipment, and perhaps fines for you and/or the recipient.

As stated earlier, its a tricky business shipping anything internationally, and food is trickier is than most.  We deal with these situations all the time, and suggest that you call us at the store, and we can discuss the particulars of your shipment with you on the phone, alerting you to potential problems before they become costly customs violations.

We offer Notary Public services for most type documents requiring a notarization.  No appointment is necessary, and all our staff members are notary publics, so if we're open we can help you!

As a matter of store policy, we DO NOT offer notary services for the following type documents:

1. Wills or will-related documents (codicils)

2. Enduring, Unrestricted, General, or medical Powers Of Attorney

3. Any document written in a language other than English
